TVS apache the flagship bike of TVS has launched in India today at Rs 2.05 lakh, this is the ex-showroom price in India. This giant was under TVS Akula from the past two years and was showcased in the auto expo 2016 also, from there only the fan following began.
The price is good according to the features present in the bike, and you can say it’s a sports bike with multiple roles and on the other hand, you can compare it with the BMW G 310 R, this bike was also under production of TVS Motors company’s Hosur plant.
The booking starts from December end, and the deliveries will be started by the second week of January. The best part which I liked is it is using the underpinnings of BMW G 310 R.
Coming on to the power of the all-new TVS Apache RR 310 it is powered by the 312 cc four-stroke engine with four single valve cylinder with the power of 7700 torque. The company claims the top speed of 160km/h and is capable of reaching 0-60km/h in 2.93 seconds and 0-100 in 7.15 seconds, and includes the six-speed transmission.
The bike includes the projector headlamps, and a LED taillights and signals indicators are also LED. Other components which are used on the bike are all appealing like the brakes are handled by 300 mm petal disc and the information display panel is also available.
The bike was designed in-house of the TVS design team, company says that many checking and testing were done before launching the bike, this bike will surely be going to change the bike segment which falls under this class, bikes like Bajaj Dominor, KTM RC 390, KTM 390 Duke, Benelli 302 R and Mahindra Mojo these bikes will have to face tough competition with the TVS Apache RR 310. The bike is available in two colors matte black and red colors.
