Reliance Jio JioPhone will hit the stores in the next month and the pre-booking will start on 5:30 pm on Thursday itself. Reliance Jio will be hoping to do a sale of over 100 million units of the Jiophone by the end of 2017. The beta testing phase for Reliance Jio Jiophone started by August 15, where the company made the phone available to a limited number of users for testing purpose. As for the people who are interested in the pre-booking the JioPhone, it will be done online as well as off line. The effective cost of the JioPhone will be of Rs 0.
The user will be able to purchase the phone at zero value, but Jio is asking for a refundable deposit of Rs 1,500 to escape the possible misuse of the phone. One thing to remember here is that the Reliance Jio phone here will be made available on the first come first serve basis.
The JioPhone will come with a deposit of Rs 1,500 which will be refundable after 3 years. The user will get the deposit money back only if they give back or return the JioPhone back after 3 years or 36 months.
The JioPhone pre-booking will start on Thursday itself, at 5:30 PM which is 24th August. In order to book the JioPhone online user can head over to MyJio app or to company’s company’s website jio.com. The phone can also be pre-booked through the offline retailers and multi-brand device retailers which include Reliance Digital stores network.
Jio will charge an Rs 1000 of the security deposit amount at the time of delivery. At the time of pre-booking, an amount of 500 will have to be paid, this will be adjusted in the security deposit. Reliance JioPhone is an initiative by Reliance which will give an opportunity to everyone so that even they can get connected.
