Google is getting ready to drop its second generation of the Pixel smartphones, which will be called Pixel 2 and Pixel XL, and we are looking forward to it. Pixel has been quite popular since it arrived in the market. The second generation of this smartphone will be coming out on 5th October.
Twitter has a lot of news floating about the Pixel 2 and one of the news is that this second-generation smartphone will have a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 SoCs, this has been the report for quite some time now. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be revealed following the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and then the launch of the much-awaited iPhone 8, this will also be done after LG are out with their offering which will be LG V30. Apple will be launching their 10th-anniversary version of the iPhone will we expect would be something special and better than the regular. For Pixel 2, the reports in the market suggest that the smartphone will come with a bezel-less display. But Google will be keeping the bezels intact for the new Pixel. While the HTC-manufactured Pixel 2 is expected to feature an EdgeSense style frame, the Pixel XL 2 is expected to be made by LG, and sport a bezel-less 18:9 display.
Pixel 2 was recently spotted on a website, this was on a US FCC website which indicated that the smartphone will be manufactured by HTC. The details also revealed that Pixel 2 will be having a squeezable frame just like the HTC U11. The website also spotted it running the Android 8.0.1 Oreo.
Also, the Pixel 2 will have a 4GB RAM setup and will come with two variants of 64GB and 128GB of built-in storage options with NFC support, Bluetooth, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. These options will be both available for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
